Here are some torso studies, I looked into the muscles that make up a torso and saw how they all connect and are located, After drawing the muscle designs I decided to try and draw some more body sketches and using the shading techniques learnt in life drawing, I applied it and think it has made my drawings look much more 3D looking like they pop out more, the white for the brighter areas where light hits and the darker shades for shadows. I now understand the body much better and can more on to the leg designs next week.
